TOEFL and IELTS

These are English Language tests that have been designed to determine your proficiency in the use of the language.TOEFL means Test of English as a Foreign Language. It is conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS), an exam board based in the USA but is available in most countries for individuals who desire to study or work in the USA. The maximum score you can earn is 120 points. The test has components that test your proficiency in listening, reading, writing and speaking. IELTS means International English Language Testing System. It is conducted by the British Council in most countries of the world. Universities and Employers in Europe and Canada tend to demand it from non native speakers of English Language. The maximum score you can earn in the test is 9 points. You will be tested to determine your proficiency in Writing, Listening, Reading, and Speaking in English Language. Tests are available many times in a year. So, you can choose to sit for your test in the month that suits your convenience but our class is in progress and run for about two months.

The Tutors:

1. Dr Peter Ogudoro, an alumnus of the University of Reading, UK where he earned his PhD in Education and Career Management, and

2. Dr Taiwo Conde, an alumnus of Anglia Ruskin University, UK where she earned her PhD in English Language.

Training Days: Sundays- 1-5pm. The scheme is completed within two months but we can deliver a two-week intensive (Monday- Friday) training for it on demand. Our fee for the weekend programme is one hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000). We will prepare you for both tests but you pay only this fee.
